Designing mobile experiences for multiple platforms
Part of the challenge we faced at The Weather Channel was designing for a variety of platforms, including Android, iOS, and Windows Phone, while balancing our branding consistency (in the middle of a brand redesign) with the user expectations and behaviors of Material Design, Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and Microsoft’s Metro Design on their respective platforms.
