BuzzFeed’s branded video department functioned very much like an ad agency but without a metrics dashboard, account managers had the very manual routine of printing our numbers from various sources to share with the client. After conducting user research with both our account managers and with actual clients, I designed our branded video dashboard. This was the first time account managers had a digital readout of all their metrics in one place and the first time that we provided clients with a self-service tool to check on the status of their video campaigns.
