Solving internal team pain points

Following the launch of Movies Anywhere, we worked with our video producers to identify major bottlenecks in the video ingestion tool— a tool that was initially built without a UX resource. As new producers were onboarded, the learning curve on the previous tool was incredibly high as the product itself was unintuitive and no thought had been given to functional hierarchy or the typical user journey. I conducted user research with our producers, did competitive analysis with other ingestion and CMS tools, and routinely presented prototypes of my designs to the producer team before working with the engineering team on final implementation.
